Brokers at Europe’s largest motorhome marketplace have been rewarded for their efforts after recording a milestone 1,000 vehicle sales this year.
Motorhome Depot, based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, sells motorhomes, caravans and other leisure vehicles on behalf of private owners, via a national network of trade partners.
After passing the 1,000 sales landmark, it now hopes to notch up 2,000 sales by financial year end.
By acting as an ‘estate agent for motorhomes and caravans’, Motorhome Depot connects sellers with an engaged group of buyers looking for their perfect motorhome. It lists all the vehicles it has for sale on its website, www.motorhomedepot.com.
Once a buyer has been found, a Motorhome Depot broker handles all aspects of the transaction – from marketing the vehicle to completing the deal – on behalf of the seller, to help them realise the best price.
Managing Director Richard Wood said: “We’re delighted to have reached the 1,000 sales mark for the year and are well on our way to achieving our 2,000 sales target by year end.
“The Motorhome Depot model is a unique concept in the market. It creates a space between private sellers and buyers and dealership sellers and
buyers of motorhomes and caravans, which aims to bring new solutions to old problems and make the process of buying or selling a motorhome simpler for all concerned.
“Our network of motorhome brokers is growing all the time and gives people with expertise in and experience of the motorhome and leisure vehicle industry the opportunity to offer buyers and sellers a viable alternative to the dealership network.”
