PRESS RELEASE:
Rapidly-growing motorhome brokerage ‘graduates’ from Mansfield Innovation Centre to new HQ
A fast-growing motorhome firm says its move from the Mansfield Innovation Centre to new head office premises will underpin its exciting plans for future growth.
Motorhome Depot is Europe’s largest motorhome marketplace, which offers a secure and stress-free alternative way of buying and selling a motorhome or caravan. Acting as an ‘estate agent for motorhomes’, the firm’s independent brokers look after every aspect of the process, from initial inspection and valuation right through to negotiating a sale price, closing the deal and securely managing the financial transaction.
The multi award-winning firm started life in the Mansfield Innovation Centre, in 2012, with four employees. It has grown into a business which employs 35 members of staff and has a network of more than 60 franchisees across the UK and Europe.
Its move to bigger premises, on the town’s Oakham Business Park, will support its plans for future growth. These include the opening of a dedicated training centre for its HabCheck brand, which provides a mobile independent and impartial pre-purchase inspection and habitation check service for motorhomes and caravans.
The additional space will help the firm to expand HabCheck and its number of franchisees across the UK, and grow its network of independent motorhome brokers.
Motorhome Depot’s Finance Director Adam Reek said: “We have ambitious plans for growth, with a strategy that includes expanding our presence in the UK to maximise our market share and developing throughout mainland Europe.
“The support we have received from the team at the Mansfield Innovation Centre has been invaluable over the years. It has enabled us to grow the business to where we are today and has given us a solid platform for future growth.”
Mansfield Innovation Centre Manager Hannah Hickman added: “Motorhome Depot is one of our big success stories and it has been fantastic to play a part in their growth and watch them go from strength to strength.
“Over the past eight years, we have provided funding, training and mentoring to help them achieve their success.
“Their move to new premises marks the end of an era. Although their team leaves the Mansfield Innovation Centre with our best wishes, we look forward to continuing to work closely with them to support their growth plans as they embark on this exciting new chapter.”
