Motorhome Depot is Operating Normally
Motorhome Depot is currently operating normally. The market is active and we are selling motorhomes every day. If you have any questions about how we are able to operate in the current climate, please read on.
The current government guidelines enable you to buy or sell a motorhome via Motorhome Depot in the usual way. The key to this is our unique method of business. In essence, Motorhome Depot simply enables sellers and buyers to conduct private transactions. Therefore, our customers are only subject to travel guidelines, where the emphasis has moved from essential, to necessary travel.
Below is an outline of how current government guidelines relate to Motorhome Depot, but of course, our main concern remains the safety of all parties involved.
The Government Guidelines*
- Travel for the general public is no longer limited to essential journeys only. Now you only have to ask yourself if your journey is necessary. This is for you to decide. If you decide it is, you just have to adhere to the government’s new safe travel guidance. See https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-safer-travel-guidance-for-passengers
- As brokers, we are able to travel to the motorhome's location of sale, because this is work that we cannot do from home.
- Your sale or purchase of a motorhome via Motorhome Depot, is a transaction between two private individuals, which takes place at a private residence. No commercial premises are involved, so the government’s list of businesses which are allowed to “Open for business” is irrelevant to your transaction.
- We fully support and actively adhere to the social distancing guidelines throughout the transaction. You can see more about the steps we take to ensure your safety here.
We hope this explains how we are able to operate and you are able to buy and sell under current government guidelines.
