Lovely condition TAG axle Hymer B774: four betls four berths, right hand drive, located in Deal, Kent.
This motorhome is ideal for long tours and stays both on and off grid, domestically and on the continent, but is still readily usable for shorter trips. In either case, the space and the legendary Hymer quality is the real eye-opener.
The B774 offers two fixed rear beds which sit over the large garage, whilst to the cab section is the pull down large double bed with privacy skirts.
The TAG axle variant offers great stability and weight distribution and the uprated Alko chassis ensures a mammoth carrying capacity. The rear garage is enormous with tie downs and a wide flat load area, and access from both sides. The engine is the tried an trusted 2.8 litre Fiat with five speed gearbox and cab AC.
Both cab seats swivel, to face a large dinette area with the two belted seats forward facing sofa, and two laterally facing options too.
The kitchen is well equipped with a deep sink, three burner hob, and oven/grill combination. There is a tall fridge freezer which works on 230, gas and electric.
On the opposite, near side is the spacious washroom with a recessed shower tray, wash basin and pedestal electric flush loo.
This motorhome had an upgraded Truma I Net heating boiler and controls fitted by the previous owner, at a cost of some £9k. This offers both 230 and gas heating and hot water settings as well as the facility to set thermostat temperatures and to program standard time cycles for the heating and hot water to come on.
The external condition is commensurate with a vehicle of this age, with some de-lacquering of the bumper finish, the HPI is clear, and the internal condition is considered to be very good.
Familiar Hymer touches include a voided raised floor construction with added storage options beneath the habitation floor as a consequence.
All in all this is a serious proposition which will nevertheless put a smile on your face as you enjoy the vast social space and retire to comfortable berths for your night's sleep.
