A lovely example of Burstners Flagship Argos A748- 2 model this the model with the large L shaped sofa. Based on the ever popular Fiat Ducato chassis with a gross vehicle weight of 5000kg a C1 licence is required to drive this vehicle. The 3.0 Diesel engine delivers a mighty 160BHP in its original form through the 6 Speed Manual Gearbox. First registered in 11/08 it has only had 3 owners from new with only 26994 miles on the clock ( new speedo fitted at 16105 miles) it comes with a comprehensive service history mostly from Camper UK where it was supplied. We enter the vehicle on the drivers side immediately to the right is the dinnette, there is a long reclining sofa to the side of the habitation door this can be used as a single bunk. On the opposite side is a large L shaped sofa the 2 forward facing seats benefit from lap & diagonal belts for travelling passengers. You could easily seat 7 people if entertaining on site. The table has been removed but you could easily fit a foldable example if required. There is a TV point with large flatscreen 240v TV fitted to the cab sliding door for your evening entertainment. The current owner has upgraded the lighting by fitting subtle LED strips around the hab area.
Access to the cab is via a hatch into the front, above is a large double bed which is accessed via a small ladder. the middle section lifts to give some extra head room when coming rear.
Moving rear is the L shaped kitchen which is spacious it has a brushed metal sink & drainer with chrome mixer tap, full sized oven & grill with 4 gas burner hob & extractor above. Opposite is a large Dometic fridge with separate freezer compartment, this will run on 240v; 12v or gas depending whether you are plugged in on site or wild camping. Above a microwave oven has been fitted for use on site. There is ample drawer & cupboard space for all your holiday provisions & kitchen utensils.
Moving rear again is the bathroom area which can be completely closed off from the front with the use of the toilet door, this gives a private area to dress in the morning. The washroom is on the passenger side with a Thetford electric fresh water flush cassette style toilet, a large corner sink to the right with a chrome mixer tap. On the opposite side is the separate shower cubicle with Perspex doors to close & a large hanging wardrobe which incorporates: TV aerial & booster; Wi-Fi Router & Alde expansion tank.
Finally at the back is the fixed rear double bed over garage this can be accessed usung some foldaway steps & is transverse. It also benefits from having a TV point with flatscreen TV at the foot of the bed.
Heating & Hot water supplied by Alde heating system which can be powered by Gas or 240v.
