Malibu a well respected quality German brand from the Carthago family. These van conversions are well thought out in every aspect offering so much more than other manufacturers. Based on the ever popular Fiat Ducato chassis with the uprated 2.3 d engine giving 140bhp through the 9 speed ZF Automatic gearbox it’s the perfect combination plus its Euro 6 rated. This is a 1 owner from new with all its Habitation checks having been done with Southdowns in Portsmouth where it was supplied new and its First mechanical service 09/23 at Adams Morey Fiat. The cab benefits from: climate control air conditioning; central locking all round; electric adjustable folding & heated mirrors; electric windows front; Pioneer double din multi media head unit with; Bluetooth phone & streaming, navigation, multi function steering wheel; lane change warning; traction control plus; hill decent; Remis blinds to front screen & side windows.
We enter the campervan on the drivers side immediately ahead is the dinette which comprises of a forward facing 2 seater sofa that has 2 x 3 point lap & diagonal seatbelts for travelling passengers. The table is fixed to the wall and has an extending leaf from under. The front two seats rotate to join this area so you could seat 4 people while entertaining on site. There is a TV point with 24” Avtex Flatscreen TV above the fixed seating. The TV can flip round so viewing can be made in bed.
Access to the second double bedroom in the pop top is from directly above the dinette. A removable two piece ladder angles from the door up over the table. The top benefits from windows to the side and front with flyscreens so light & ventilation are very good.
Moving rear is the galley kitchen, the Thetford fridge is accessed from the side of the island by the sliding door. Above the counter is a 2 burner gas hob & oblong stainless steel sink with chrome mixer tap. There is good cupboard & drawer space for all holiday utensils & provisions.
Opposite is the all in one bathroom which has some Cannie features. The door can open into the gangway with a folding leaf giving a private area for dressing in the morning. The toilet a Thetford cassette style unit with electric fresh water flush can be retracted into the bulkhead whilst the shower is in use and there is a fold down flap above to keep it dry. The white corner sink unit has a chrome mixer tap also. There is a white plastic tambour door that also can be used whilst the shower is in operation to keep the area dry. The side window also has a clever Perspex screen to cover it.
Finally to the rear is the large bedroom area. With twin singles over storage area layout, it can be accessed via a fixed step. There is also additional storage under the foot of the drivers side. The bed can be lifted to open the area up for additional storage if required while travelling for bikes for example. There is plenty of overhead storage and the area is well lit.
The rear doors open outwards to reveal the under bed storage & the gas locker which has room for 2 bottles.
Heating & hot water are supplied by Truma Combi 6 E boiler with blown warm air through out the camper.
