Based on the class-leading Fiat Ducato chassis this Pilote is a joy to drive as it features automatic transmission, cruise control and cab air conditioning so you can sit back and enjoy your journey. It comes with rear air suspension which is a game changer in terms of providing a smooth ride for all passengers. In the cab there is an idMEDIA system with sat nav, camera, DAB radio and Bluetooth, a windscreen privacy blind, driver and passenger airbags, electric windows and mirrors, steering wheel mounted controls and more.
Behind the cab is the spacious lounge which is light and airy and this is a lovely spot to relax in after your day out. There are 2 side facing sofas to relax on and an extending dining table to enjoy meals or drinks with family and friends. Both front seats swivel to allow an additional 2 guests to join in the fun. On the nearside there is a large separate shower with Perspex screen doors and on the offside there is a Thetford cassette toilet with electric flush, a stylish bathroom cabinet for your toiletries, a mirror and a wash basin with a mixer tap. A skylight floods the bathroom with natural light.
The sleeping arrangements are amongst the most impressive you will find in any motorhome as it features the ever desirable island bed at the rear so if one of you wakes up during the night and needs to use the bathroom you don't need to clamber over your partner. The other two sleeping berths are in the electric drop-down bed over the lounge which in effect gives you a fixed bed but without taking up any of your much needed floor space.
This is a very high quality motorhome and this is reflected in the excellent cabinet work throughout the vehicle. All lockers, cupboards and doors close with a reassuring solid sound. The motorhome has been uprated to 4000 kg but can easily be downplated back to 3500 kg.
