From one of Frances finest motorhome manufacturers the Rapido 966M an A Class that smacks of quality throughout the Motorhome. Based on the class leading Mercedes 318 CDI Sprinter chassis with the 3.0 turbo diesel engine & the Automatic gearbox. This vehicle has only had two owners from new and comes with a comprehensive mechanical service history including 8 service stamps in the book the last having been done in 09/24 at 47k. The cab benefits from: Power steering; climate control air conditioning; cruise control; multi function steering wheel; electric adjustable mirrors; Electric window passenger side; Kenwood double din multi media head unit including, Bluetooth phone & streaming, DAB Radio, Single CD player & navigation; blinds to front & side screens.
We enter the Motorhome on the drivers side via a low step immediately to the right of the habitation door is a single seat, opposite is an L shaped sofa the forward facing seats benefit from having 2 x lap & diagonal seat belts for travelling passengers. The front two seats rotate to join the area so you could easily seat 6 people if entertaining on site. The floor mounted table can be moved in multi axis to centralise in the area, it also benefits from folding in half to aid movement through the cab while travelling. There is a TV point on the rear kitchen wall with flatscreen Avtex TV.
Over the cab is the second double bed which is full width, it drops down manually over the front seats and can be accessed easily by hopping up on the side seat.
Moving rear is the L shaped kitchen which consists of: round stainless steel sink with chrome mixer tap above; 3 burner gas hob; Smev oven & grill; 12v extractor with downlights. There is plenty of cupboard & drawer space for all your travel utensils & provisions. On the opposite side is a large Dometic fridge with separate freezer box, this can be powered automatically by 240v,12v or gas depending whether you are wild camping or plugged in on site.
Moving rear again is the quality washroom with Thetford cassette style electric fresh water flush toilet with swivel head. Bowl shaped stainless sink with chrome mixer tap. There is plenty of cupboard space and a Brabantia bin. On the opposite side of the gangway is the separate shower unit with chrome mixer tap and riser; Perspex doors to close. The bathroom area can be split off from the front with a pleated screen so you can dress in privacy.
Finally to the rear is the main bedroom which is twin singles over garage which is accessed by built in steps. There is an infill board & cushions so that the whole area can be made up into a big double bed & then accessed via a ladder. At the foot of the beds there is drawer storage for clothing & a hanging wardrobe central between the beds.
Heating & hot water are supplied by Truma combination boiler with warm blown air throughout the motorhome. This can be powered by Gas or 240v.
