Motorhome Depot are pleased to present this excellent 2018 Ford Transit 270 Custom Limited 4-berth,5-belt Campervan. Based on the Ford Transit, it is powered by the 2.0 TDCi 130BHP Ford diesel engine and 6-speed gearbox. Having only done 50000 miles, this Transit comes with an MOT until August 2025 with no advisories and has had a timing belt change on recall by Ford and has service history. It has a GVW of 2700kg so can be driven on a standard UK licence. This van was professionally converted by the current owners and it was done by Philips Vans Ltd in South Wales to a very high standard.
The first thing to note is this Transit has 3 extras we consider to be very important for campers - It has a Solar Panel,diesel heater and off-road tyres which allows the van to have excellent off-grid capability and great handling for those who want to go wild camping. The Skyline Poptop is particularly convenient as the "floor" is on hydraulic stays so can be raised very easily giving convenient standing room in the main habitation area of the camper rather than having to remove loose boards and then find storage space for them. This poptop also comes with front and side windows and fly screens and a mattress topper.
The Rock n Roll bed is a Rib Alt Air and has 2 seatbelts and is easily made up to a double with storage space underneath and you have an additional 2 sleeping places in the pop top. The front cab passenger seat swivels round to give you extra space for dining along with the removable table. Kitchen is fully functional with a 2 burner gas hob, sink and a fridge with freezer box. At the rear of the campervan you have more storage space and there is a Porta Potti on board.
Other spec includes LED lights throughout the van,cabin speakers,leisure battery with hook-up,rear privacy glass,USB and 240V plug outlets and internal blackout screens.
Externally the van really looks the part with the diamond white paintwork and alloys wheel with chunky off-road tyres.There is a Fiamma wind-out awning which is an extra not always seen on these conversions.
In the cab we have cruise control with speed limiter,electric windows and mirrors,heated driver seat,Ford Sync DAB radio with Bluetooth,4" Multi-function display,steering wheel remote audio controls,leather-trimmed gearknob,Thatcham CAT 1 Alarm with tracker,AC,front and rear parking sensors and a very handy dashcam which should give a welcome insurance discount.
