In 2024 this motorhome has had a new cambelt, a habitation check, an engine service, a diesel heater service, 2 new Gel leisure batteries and a new engine battery. It will also be sold with a transferable Autoguard warranty that runs until 2026 so you can buy with confidence.
Built on the superb Ford Transit chassis this gorgeous Chausson has covered only 13,027 miles. The Transit is world renowned for its reliability and driveability. Add cruise control to the mix and you'll love every minute driving this motorhome. In the cab there is air conditioning, a radio/cd with Bluetooth for your phone, full cab privacy blinds, driver and passenger airbags and so much more. The driver will also benefit from a reversing camera as well as reversing sensors. Both front seats swivel allowing the front passengers to join the other passengers for food and drinks in the dinette.
The lounge dinette has 2 lovely side facing sofas and an extending dining table. Ingeniously the sofas convert into upright single seats fitted with 3 point seat belts so 4 people can travel safely. When it's time for sleep the 2 sofas convert into a comfortable double bed. But probably the standout feature of this stunning motorhome are the 2 electric drop down single beds. These can be lowered to whichever height suits you. In the morning at a push of button you can raise the beds back up to the ceiling freeing up the space below.
The kitchen is very well equipped so you'll have no problem dining well on your travels. You have a dual-fuel hob with an electric hotplate and 2 gas burners as well as an oven and a grill. Another nice feature is the large fridge freezer which has automatic selection.
The washroom at the rear is huge and has an ultra modern design. There is a large separate shower with folding screen doors and on the other side is a Thetford cassette toilet, a wash basin with a mixer tap and a bathroom unit for your toiletries. There is also an enormous bathroom cupboard which is large enough to put your bedding in.
This Chausson has a garage providing plenty of storage space if you want to pack up your belongings and go long term touring. And if wild camping is your thing a powerful 170 watt solar panel will keep your leisure battery topped up. A Battery Master has been fitted so when the leisure batteries are topped up it switches over to trickle feed the engine battery.
Hot water works off electric and gas and the heating runs off the fantastic Webasto diesel system which will keep you warm as toast. The motorhome comes with an MOT until October 9th 2025 with no advisories.
