From the Hymer group comes this high quality Italian family motorhome the Laika Ecovip 1. Laika are built in their own bespoke factory in Tuscany and are passionate about producing quality motorhomes which is evident in abundance in this one. It also has a host of clever design features. Based on the ever popular Fiat Ducato chassis with a 2.3L 150ps Multijet diesel engine and the manual 6 Speed gearbox. This vehicle has only had 2 owners from new and covered only 14858 miles, it has a comprehensive service history with 4 mechanical stamps in the book including the Cambelt in 2022. We enter the motorhome on the offside via an electric step immediately to the right of the habitation door is a 2 seater sofa & opposite is the full dinette with 4 travelling seat belts. The table folds away when not in use & has an extending leaf to reach the side sofa. You could easily seat 6 people round the table whilst entertaining on site. There is a tv point with Flatscreen Avtex TV by the overhead cupboards. At night the seating can be made up into a small double bed using a combination of seat cushions for the mattress.
Over the front cab is the second larger double bed that is accessed using a ladder. The area has plenty of head room and is flooded with light & ventilation with 3 opening hatches.
Moving rear is the L shaped kitchen which consists of: round stainless steel sink with chrome mixer tap above ; 4 gas burner hob with overhead 12v extractor fan with LED lighting; plenty of cupboard & drawer space. Adjacent to this is the large Dometic 3 way fridge with separate freezer box that can be powered by 240v,12v or gas depending whether you are plugged in on site or wild camping. Above is a Smev oven and grill. There is additional storage above the fridge and a hanging wardrobe alongside.
Opposite the kitchen is the all in one bathroom with separate shower cubicle with Perspex doors to close. The toilet is a Thetford cassette style unit with a swivel head and electric fresh water flush. Above is a white built in sink with chrome mixer tap, the area benefits from being well lit and having 2 mirrors.
Finally to the rear is the 2 bunk beds, the top one being accessed by a small ladder. If you want to utilise the large garage the bottom bunk can be lifted and clipped out of the way. The weight capacity is a good 250kg ideal for motorbike carrying.
Heating & hot water are supplied by Truma combination boiler that can be powered by 240v or gas.
Gross vehicle weight 3850kg – requires a C1 Driving Licence to drive.
