From those clever people at Hymer comes the Grand Canyon S. These van conversions are well thought out in every aspect offering so much more than other manufacturers. Based on the class leading Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis with 2.2d 163bhp engine with the 7 G-Tronic automatic gearbox rated as Euro 6D. This is a 3 owner vehicle with a comprehensive mechanical history from Mercedes Benz & Hab checks from Hymer the last being 07/24. We enter the campervan on the drivers side immediately ahead is the dinette which comprises of a forward facing 2 seater sofa that has 2 x 3 point lap & diagonal seatbelts for travelling passengers. The table is fixed to the wall it can be folded out to double the size or dropped out of the way. The front two seats rotate to join this area so you could seat 4 people while entertaining on site.
Access to the second double bedroom in the pop top is from directly above the dinette. A removable two piece ladder angles from the door up over the table. The top benefits from windows to the side and front with flyscreens so light & ventilation are very good. There is a reading light and 12v socket. Also heat is piped up to the roof for additional comfort.
Moving rear is the galley kitchen above the counter is a 2 burner gas hob combination with oblong stainless steel sink with chrome mixer tap, glass lids to close. There is good cupboard & drawer space for all holiday utensils & provisions. Next To the kitchen is a large 12V Thetford fridge with freezer box.
Opposite is the all in one bathroom with Thetford electric fresh water flush toilet with fold away sink above & chrome mixer tap. There is a shower curtain to keep the area dry whilst in use and a solid wooden floor board.
Finally to the rear is the bedroom with a transverse double bed. The bed can be lifted to open the area up for additional storage if required while travelling for bikes for example. There is plenty of overhead storage and the area is well lit. Below the bed is also additional cupboard space.
The rear doors open outwards to reveal the under bed storage & the gas locker which has room for 2 bottles.
Heating & hot water are supplied Truma combination boiler with blown warm air throughout the camper, which can be powered by Diesel or 240v.
