Hymer have been producing motorhomes since the early 1970s,

respected motorhome manufacturers in Europe and this 2014 Hymer B698 is no
exception.
This elegant 4-berth A-Class motorhome provides the much sought-after
Island bed which is situated above a large garage and a roomy pull-down double
bed to the front and comes with the usual high build quality and finish you expect
from Hymer.
This low-mileage motorhome has been very well cared for and
has been maintained to a very high standard which is evident both internally
and externally.
The motorhome is built on the Fiat Ducato 2.3ltr engine with an
AUTOMATIC gear box, which drives and handles beautifully. With mileage at just
under 40,000 miles the motorhome has full-service history, comprehensive habitation
history, an MOT until May 2024 and the cambelt was changed in 2020. The GVW is 4250kg which will require a C1 driving license.
The interior of the motorhome is upholstered in a neutral
leather and a fabric finish and the high gloss furniture provides a modern, yet
still elegant look and feel.
To the front, you will find a comfortable living space in the
lounge area with 2 swivel Captain seats, an L-shaped lounge with a side sofa, a
multi-positional table and the two additional 3-point travelling seat belts.
The spacious pull-down bed is located above the cab.
Centrally you will find the fully functional and well equipped
kitchen, providing all your cooking needs with a sink with hot and cold mixer
tap, a 3-ring gas hob, a combined oven & grill, a large fridge with
separate freezer and an abundance of storage with soft close cupboards at floor
level and overhead lockers.
The Island bed is located to the rear of the motorhome and is
located above the large garage which can be accessed both internally and via
two external lockers. There is an abundance of storage in the form of
wardrobes, drawers and cupboards.
To the foot of the bed you will find the separate washroom
with a Thetford cassette toilet, vanity handwash basin and spacious wall storage
and mirror. The shower cubicle is located adjacent.
The motorhome comes with 4 seatbelts, driver and
passenger air bag, electric windows and mirrors, Radio, USB charging points,
cab air con, cruise control, reversing camera, sat nav, front window cab
blinds, Phantom Tracker, satellite, solar panel, TV, aerial, carpets, spare
wheel, wind out awning, 2 leisure batteries (replaced 2 years ago), the engine
battery was replaced a year ago, Gaslow system and bottle, external BBQ point,
electric step and 240v hook-up cable.
This really is a fine example of how well a
motorhome can be maintained and must be seen to appreciate the quality.
