Here we have a fabulous recent conversion of a popular low-mileage VW Crafter.
This van has been meticulously planned and built to maximise
every inch of space yet allow plenty of room to manoeuvre inside and provide
loads of locker and drawer space for the whole family to enjoy.
The sliding entry door opens to reveal the swivel driver and
passenger seats which when turned face the 2 RIB passenger seats and creates a
dining area. The front windscreen and windows have Remis cab blinds fitted. The top quality RIB seats are those that can
also slide together and along with the front seats create 2 single beds or a
double.
Opposite the door and behind the far RIB seat is a unit with
a large fridge with integral freezer and beyond that is a custom made set of
bunk beds. The higher one can be folded
down to create a back rest and make a settee.
Opposite this is the kitchen units with hob, oven, sink and plenty of
worktop space. There are large lockers
above and drawers below as well as cavernous storage areas under the bunks and
above and below the fridge.
The other far corner houses the well-appointed washroom with
shower, toilet and drop-down sink housed behind a neat tambour door. This room is ventilated by way of a roof
vent/fan.
The habitation area can be heated by either diesel or
electric by way of a Truma unit and a roof mounted air conditioning unit is
fitted that runs on 240V.
A Freesat dome has been installed and the system includes a
12v/240v TV.
The underslung LPG tank can be filled externally.
The rear doors carry a 2- bike rack and conceal further
storage pockets and a collapsible Thule ladder which can be used as both a bunk
ladder or to access the roof box which provides even more storage.
The whole interior is bright and finished in vivid modern
colours with coloured lighting in some areas.
