Take a look at this high specification VW Leisuredrive conversion with a host of extras specified by the owner.
This van is a truly outstanding version of the top-quality conversions
that Leisuredrive are famed for.
The base vehicle is a T6.1 Startline LWB but it has AC,
cruise control, a DAB Car Play radio system with touch screen, reversing
sensors and seat arm rests. It is two-tone by way of a professionally added ‘wrap’
to the lower part of the van which could be removed or changed if required.
On entering the nearside sliding door immediately on the
left is the passenger seat which can be swivelled and houses a key-lockable
safe in its base. The drivers door can
be folded flat to increase the length of the offside bed. There is a thermostatically controlled Webasto
diesel heater below this seat with a controller set above it. Over the cab is a large storage area – essential
for bedding etc.
The nearside full-length settee also acts as a single bed. A floor mounted table is tucked in behind
this and there are 2 floor sockets to position it in different ways. There are two lap belts fitted to this
settee. Please note these have
been added purely to fasten two dogs in for travelling in safety and should not
be used in any other circumstance.
To the right of the settee is a storage unit with a 12v TV
mounted on the side. This unit houses a
practical fridge, a useful drawer and has a wardrobe above. In the far corner is a work surface which
lifts up to access a tambour screen which cleverly hides the flushing cassette
toilet beneath.
Opposite is a fully fitted kitchen with a sink, 2-burner
hob, small oven and gas locker below. On
the end of the kitchen unit and accessible behind the rear doors is a beach
shower and on the other side is the toilet compartment hatch. In the ceiling is an extractor fan. Finally,
coming back to the door is the rear travelling seat with seatbelt that makes
the second single bed. There is also the
option to make a huge double bed by using both the singles with a sliding out
section and extra infill piece if required.
There is a privacy curtain to screen the rear of the van and all the
windows have fly screens and fitted thermal curtains.
This fabulous van comes complete with a Vango air awning and
a draught excluder, heavy duty thermal windscreen cover and fabulous black
Wolfrace 20” alloys with nearly new Pirelli tyres. Also fitted is a Thatcham 5
approved tracker.
This is a truly outstanding van and really needs to be
