Very reluctantly, the owners who have had this motorhome from new are selling their beloved hymer C544. They have travelled extensively in her across Europe and in the UK and they have loved every single minute of the experience. They have added some fantastic features to improve the quality of their holiday experiences and these will benefit the new owners.
Based on the fantastic Fiat Ducato chassis, this Hymer has the powerful 2.8 litre engine so you will have no issues climbing hills even with the family on board. Weighing 3400 kg means that this motorhome can be driven by anyone on a standard driving licence.
The owner is including in the sale a free motorcycle rack and tow bar which are valuable and useful additions giving you the flexibility to add another form of transport for you to explore the local area while you are away. Rear air suspension has been fitted and this provides a really smooth ride for people travelling in the rear. The owner has also had an inverter added which gives 230 volt electric from a plug at the rear when you aren't hooked-up to mains electric.
Step inside the vehicle and immediately you feel a sense of space and lightness. The end kitchen is equipped with a 3 gas burner hob, a fridge and a stainless steel sink with a tap. There is plenty of storage space for your cooking essentials in the overhead lockers, cupboards and drawers.
Just behind the kitchen is the washroom. Here you have a shower with the showerhead built into the bathroom tap, a Thetford cassette toilet, a wash basin and tap, 2 large mirrors and a large bathroom cabinet for your toiletries.
The lounge dinette is both spacious and comfortable. On the nearside there is a long sofa measuring 71 inches in length so after a day out you can put your feet up and relax. This can also be used as a single bed. On the off side are forward and rear facing sofas both of which have one seat belt and one lap belt. Being Hymer, the dining table is incredibly sturdy and well-made. At bedtime this area converts into a double bed. The final two sleeping berths are in the large overcab bed which will sleep two adults, but good luck trying to keep the kids from sleeping here.
Incredibly, this is a one owner motorhome. As you would expect of a vehicle of this age there are a few exterior markings but overall it is in very good condition and will make a great travelling partner for a couple or for a family who want to enjoy the fun and freedom that motorhome holidays bring but at a price that doesn't break the bank. And of course you benefit from the superb build quality of a Hymer German built motorhome.
