This iconic left hand drive Hymer motorhome displays all the hallmarks of the superior build quality that Hymer have become renowned for. The cabinetry is reassuringly solid and built to last and this lovely motorhome was re-upholstered a few years ago. It is built on the class leading Fiat Ducato chassis and is powered by a 2.5 litre engine so you will have no trouble climbing hills.
The layout consists of the ever popular end kitchen with a 3 gas burner hob, an oven and grill, a 3 way fridge and a double sink with a mixer tap. There is storage space in the overhead lockers and also in a ground level cupboard. Next to the kitchen is the washroom which has a cassette toilet, a shower, a wash basin, a large mirror and a generous cupboard to store your toiletries. Next to the washroom is a large cupboard with hanging space and plenty of shelves to store your clothes.
The centrally located lounge and dinette is a lovely light and airy spot to enjoy meals and drinks. There is a solid dining table that attaches to a side rail which when not in use can be stored away. The lounge consists of a long side facing sofa as well as forward and rear facing 2 seater sofas which are fitted with 2 seat belts and 2 lap belts. A large skylight over the dinette as well as 2 large windows throw in plenty of daylight making this a lovely light motorhome to spend time in.
The sleeping arrangements consist of a large pull down bed over the cab which measures approximately 74 x 54 inches. The long sofa can be used as a single bed and the rear and forward facing sofas also convert into a double bed giving you potentially 5 berths in total. Above the lounge are storage lockers on both sides. There is additional storage underneath the large sofa as well as storage in the external side lockers. And if that wasn't enough there is also a rear external storage box as well.
Heating and hot water operate off gas and the motorhome has 2 gas bottles. Externally there is a bike rack and a wind out awning for you to enjoy outside dining or relaxation. The motorhome has been regularly serviced and had regular habitation checks. The owner had 4 new Michelin tyres in 2019 and the vehicle has covered very few miles since and he had expensive new Bosch engine and leisure batteries put in the same year.
If you plan to go touring around Europe once things open up the fact that this is a left hand drive vehicle is an advantage, but to be honest it's equally at home driving in the UK because of the high driving position which gives excellent visibility. This motorhome is in very nice condition for its age. There are a few external age related marks as you would expect but this Hymer will make a fantastic travelling companion for a couple or a family looking to experience the fun and freedom that a motorhome holiday brings.
The seller also has 2 top of the range electric bikes that he is happy to sell. They were £4500 new but he is happy to accept £2500 if the buyer is interested.
