This is a stunning motorhome designed with family use in mind. It sleeps 6 people and unlike many 6 berth motorhomes it comes with 6 belts. It is packed with impressive onboard equipment to make every journey and holiday a real pleasure, and if wild camping is your thing then this Rimor fits the bill on so many levels.
Registered in March 2013 this Rimor Katamarano has automatic transmission and cruise control so driving her is an enjoyable experience. In the cab area you have air conditioning, power windows and mirrors, driver and passenger airbags, radio MP3 player with USB and a twin reversing camera.
Behind the cab is the lounge dinette. The forward facing 2 seater is fitted with 2 seat belts and the rear facing sofa has 2 lap belts. The dining table fixes on to a side rail and if you want more space this can be easily removed and stored away. In the evenings the dinette converts into a double bed. Above the dinette is an electric drop down bed measuring 80 x 53 inches. When you wake up simply press the button and the bed stores neatly against the roof and frees up your floor space down below.
The mid-kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a 3 gas burner hob, a fridge with an ice compartment and a stainless steel sink with a mixer tap. Next to the kitchen is the stylish washroom which has a separate shower with a fold out screen, a wash basin with a mixer tap, a Thetford cassette toilet and a storage cupboard for your toiletries. A large window floods the washroom with daylight.
At the back of the motorhome you have a fixed French bed which is surrounded by numerous overhead storage lockers. The bed can be raised on power struts to access the substantial storage area underneath and this can also be accessed from the rear outside locker door.
Where this highly desirable motorhome comes into its own is that it has been equipped with all the facilities you could ever want to go wild camping for days on end. You could also comfortably live in this motorhome permanently if you so wished. Solar panels delivering a whopping 450 of watts are mounted on the roof and the motorhome has 3 leisure batteries onboard so you'll never need to worry about your leisure batteries going flat. A 4000 watt inverter has been fitted giving you mains power even when you aren't on hook-up and the USB points allow you to charge your phone and tablets when you are off-grid.
This Rimor has air suspension installed providing a lovely gentle ride and the pressure gauge and filling point is next to the driver seat. A bike rack to carry 3 cycles has been fitted and it has the Gaslow refillable bottle which allows you to fill up with LPG at any station in the UK or Europe and saves you around 70% on your gas costs.
This motorhome will make a fantastic travelling partner for a family or a couple wanting to take grandchildren away with them and thanks to the impressive features onboard if you want to explore away from the crowds you are well equipped to wild camp.
