This is a lovely example of a Danbury converted VW T2 camper van. It is really nice condition and perfect for fantastic trips away. The VW T2 is perfect for a couple of small family wanting to get away for day trips, weekends or even longer. This is a classic camper and will give you endless fun and enjoyment as well as memories that will last you a lifetime.
When buying a VW T2 you are buying into the culture of the camper. There are always bits to do and if you are looking for all the mod cons this is probably not for you.
The camper has a modern water cooled 1.4L petrol engine that sounds fantastic - a video of it running is available. The controls are all very basic but that is exactly as it should be.
In the rear of the camper you have a rock and roll bed, side cabinets which include a 2 ring gas hob, grill, 12v fridge and cold water sink. The front passenger seat rotates around to give you additional seating.
There is a lovely pop top roof which creates additional space inside the camper. This does have a board and gives you additional space for sleeping for two children.
In addition to the above the camper would also come with an Outhaus sun canopy, colour matched grill to replace the dummy spare wheel and buddy seat for additional storage and seating.
This particular camper has been well loved and carer for with regular service and a current MOT running to the end of June. In the main the body work is really good however there are some areas of rust above the wheel arch. The current owner is looking to get quotes to get this work done but has been taken into consideration in the price.
