A true blast from the past and the unmistakable classic design that is the VW Campervan! This camper has a reconditioned 1.6 Petrol engine and a manual transmission. This is a 4 berth 3 belt Campervan that is 4.4 meters in length and can be driven on a standard license.
For the Layout as we enter through the sliding door, we have the familiar VW feeling directly in front of you is the sink with cold tap and drainer and a 2-gas burner that sits above additional storage space. To the right is the comfortable two-seater bench that pulls out to convert into a bed this also house and additional travelling belt. Another large storage cupboard is sat behind the bench seat with smaller cubbyholes also found at the rear of the Camper.
The Pop Top on the Camper allows more head room and adds an additional two sleeping spaces by pulling the bunk beds out of the cleverly stored holding place at the side of the van and hooking them onto the front and back fixings.
The bodywork on the outside in general is in good condition and the stunning blue and white contrast is a real head turner! There are some age related marks on the interior of the Campervan which is to be expected over a span of 54 years but the character of the Campervan still lives on strong and is ready to continue exploring!
